Dr. Jemy Joseph

Dr. Jemy Joseph is an award-winning physician, coach, speaker and educator. She currently works as a Family Physician and Emergency Medicine physician in Toronto and in rural/remote parts of Canada (including Northwest Territories and Nunavut). She loves the “career balance” that comes from experiencing the full breadth of primary care in rural towns to working in high volume/high acuity ER settings. This range has also given her the privilege of serving several marginalized communities including First Nations, refugees, immigrants and BIPOC communities. Her career came with its own challenges of discovering the nuts and bolts of career with frequent adaptions to new communities and practice settings. Outside of clinical medicine, Dr. Joseph enjoys giving lectures, teaching medical students and coaching/mentoring young physicians.
